Some people’s fascination with great songs does not constantly trump their bigotry. When you cannot fit the conventions of what you need to seem and appear to be, you can get ostracised. I’ve needed to refute opportunities and collaborations simply because individuals planned to reap the incentives of my personal skill while misgendering me in identical breath. U: Advocacy and allyship for trans individuals can simply occur if cis people are willing to end up being traitors into violent cis-heterosexual patriarchy that positively harms united states.
K: How can the LGBTQ+ community as a whole be better partners to trans individuals?
U: which means paying us our worth, dealing with you like people with nuance in the place of science experiments, divesting from indisputable fact that genitals = gender, etc. There are many damaging thinking that causes the untimely death of trans folks. There is nothing completely wrong around, cisgender is not necessarily the criterion. The work starts in your mind and center. I believe like We state a similar thing annually.
